Season 2 of the US adaptation of Top Gear aired on the History Channel during 2011 and 2012. Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust, and Rutledge Wood all returned for the second season which consisted of sixteen episodes. The second season aired in two parts with the first beginning on the 24th of July 2011 and the second beginning on the the 14th of February 2012.

Rutledge and Adam are sick of Tanner winning everything so they dedicate an episode to attempting to find something with cars that Tanner can't do. They challenge him to all sorts of car-based mayhem including breaking the indoor speed record, attempting to drift any vehicle and racing him on a computer. |
