Tom "Wookie" Ford is a British motoring journalist who was one of the hosts for the first season of BBC America's US adaptation of Top Gear, Top Gear America, alongside William Fichtner and Antron Brown.
Outside of Top Gear America, he had presented Top Gear's longtime rival Fifth Gear for several years, and was also a writer for Top Gear Magazine.
Ford appeared in all eight episodes of the first season of Top Gear America. He was the only non-American host of the initial trio. In these episodes, he was commonly referred to by his nickname 'Wookie'.
Ford's contract was terminated following the universal panning of the first season of Top Gear America and was replaced by former evo writer Jethro Bovingdon for Season 2.
