Hammond filming in Mozambique

The Mozambique Special will be the second special of the Amazon motoring show The Grand Tour and will air during the show's second season in late 2017 to early 2018. It will feature Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May and was filmed in March, 2017. The exact synopsis of the special is unknown at this time, though it is known from previews, promotional materials, and sightings of the filming that Hammond will be driving a motorbike, Clarkson will be in a pickup truck, and May will be in some other car. It will mark the first time that all three presenters have driven different classes of vehicles in a single special. It be the second time The Grand Tour has visited Africa for a special, following The Beach (Buggy) Boys which was filmed in Angola and Namibia.

The special will presumably be set in and around Mozambique. The exact title of the special has yet to be confirmed. It is also unknown at this time if the special will be broadcast in two parts, as has been the trend across recent Top Gear and The Grand Tour specials.
