Lydden Hill

James racing at Lydden Hill

The Lydden Hill Race Circuit is a racing circuit located in Kent, United Kingdom. The race circuit is famous for being the shortest in the UK. The track has been host to motorsport racing and rallycross events since it opened in 1965. The track has been used twice on the television show Top Gear, once in the seventh episode of the eighteenth series of Top Gear and once in the second episode of series twenty of the show. Top Gear first visited the site to see if it was possible to go motor-racing for less than the price of golf. Richard then returned to the track in series twenty to stage a demoliton derby in order to find the world's best taxi.
