Koenigsegg Agera is a car to be produced by Koenigsegg in 2011. The Agera was built to beat the record for fastest production car, shortly after the Bugatti Veyron Supersport took it from the Shelby SSC Ultimate Aero. It will be fitted with a 4.7 litre V8 generating an output of 910bhp at 6500 rpm, 104bhp more than the previous 245mph CCX. Its has 767bhp/tonne and weighing 1220kg. Top speed is quoted at around 260+ mph.
It won Top Gear's 'Hypercar of the Year 2010' award in the magazine.
