Jaguar XJ-220 is a limited supercar built and manufactured by British automaker Jaguar. The car was first to set a top speed of ~212 mph over the Ferrari F40. The nomenclature of the car as purposely to reached at 220 mph. Similar to XK120, the body is made of all-aluminum. The concept vision is initially powered with 6.2-litre V12 and AWD, this later changed to 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 and RWD for production version. Tyres sourced from Bridgestone.

In shakedown test the car reached first as stated above. After several test the top speed was able to reach at 217 mph and ceritified for Guinness World Record.

  • In Old Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson states the XJ220 to be the best depreciated car, during his test drive on hard acceleration the radio shoots out of the dashboard. In another show he looks at the 680bhp XJ220S
  • In The Most Outrageous Jeremy Clarkson Film In The World... Ever!, Jeremy tests the XJ220 against the Ferrari F40. Despite criticising the immense weight and handling, he praises the XJ220's immense speed, excitement and looks.
  • The XJ220 was compared to the Pagani Zonda S, in Clarkson: Hot Metal. Despite preferring and admitting that the Zonda was a better car, Jeremy was shocked to learn that the XJ220 was faster in a drag race.
  • In Series 5, Episode 2, The XJ220 once again took part in a drag race with the Zonda S, as Jeremy compared it, the McLaren F1 and the Ferrari F40 to the Zonda, the Porsche Carrera GT and the Ferrari Enzo.
  • In Breaking, badly, Clarkson compares the XJ220 to the Bugatti EB110 at the Eboladrome. Though the XJ220 wins a drag race and is ultimately preferred by Clarkson, he states it to be terrifying and wayward. At the hands of Eaton it sets a slow time in the wet of 1:35.7.
  • In Series 29, Episode 2, Flintoff championed the XJ220 as the best 200mph pioneer against Harris in a Ferrari F40 and McGuinness in a Lamborghini Diablo. Despite losing to the F40 in a simple rolling race, Flintoff manages to max the XJ220 to 200mph.
