Range Rover is a full-size 4WD SUV built by Land Rover since 1969. It is a current sub-brand of the Jaguar Land Rover in 2013. Range Rover now in fifth-gen introduced in 2022.

Petrol engines are exclusive with force-induction V8 engine. The former fourth had an optional 3-litre both inline-6 and V6. The current fifth-gen now with hybrid.

First-gen Range Rover was built in 1969 to 1996. Initially as 2-door until in 1981. Body style expanded up to 5-door SUV. First-gen commonly known as the Ranger Rover Classic despite of its shape. The said-gen has a most turbodiesel option with inline-4 sourced from VM Motori. The second-gen Range Rover petrol engines are sourced from Land Rover with only one turbodiesel from the BMW with inline-6.

Second-gen also marks the exclusively with 5-door SUV body style it is expand overall dimension. it produced from 1994 to 2001. Third-gen Range Rover has a redesign shape. It introduces the air-suspension that adjust the ride height but also retained as 4x4 drivetrain, the said-gen phase out the manual gearbox, the engine were rebadged with Jaguar V8 including from BMW and Ford for turbo-diesel. Third-gen produced until 2012.

The fourth-gen, includes the hybrid with petrol and diesel. Petrol has came with most option from 2-litre to 5-litre V8. 2-litre and 3-litre are commonly known as the Ingenium. Coupled with 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The fourth-gen produced until 2021. The current fifth-gen most of the petrol are down to 2 options now either 3-litre MHEV (including diesel) and 4.4-litre V8.
