The fourth episode of the first series of the Amazon motoring show The Grand Tour premiered on the 9th of December, 2016. It is entitled Enviro-mental. Filming for the studio segments of the show took place in Whitby in the United Kingdom. This is the second episode of The Grand Tour to be set in Whitby, following Arts, Opera and Donuts one week earlier.

Synopsis Edit

Segments Edit

Clarkson, Hammond, and May attempt to create an automobile entirely out of sustainable materials, before putting their creations to the test in a green motorsport event.

Track Test Edit

Clarkson is back at The Grand Tour test track to pit the BMW M4 GTS against the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a car Hammond owns.

Celebrity Brain Crash Edit

This week's guest was British comedian Jimmy Carr, who was 'killed' by accidentally crashing his jet-ski into a boat on the river.

Tent Location Edit

For this episode, and the one before it, the tent was pitched in Whitby, England, the United Kingdom. Again, it was pitched near the River Esk overlooking the tow because of James May losing the tent bag.
