Aston Martin DBR9 is race car version of the DB9 built for endurance racing including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and for FIA GT under GT1 regulations.

DBR9 retains the chassis and engine but being re-worked purposely for race use with a carbon fibre for weight savings. Prodrive aided the development for driver's comfort to keep on the track. Unrestricted version has more power than the regular DBR9.

Like from the predecessor it retained the success of the endurance racing. A number 007 is in honour of James Bond's unique signature.

DBR9 is the first non-legal and GT-race car to take the fastest lap time compared to normal road supercars or hypercars. Since it's race-spec it was removed on the board.
